Ronald
Lynn Snakenberg grew up in Bunapark, Ca and graduated from Rosemead High
School in 1955. While attending Rosemead he was very active in track and
field. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he
visited such places as Japan, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Pakistan, Persian
Gulf, Cape Town in South Africa, Rio de Janairo, and Peru.
In
1961 he relocated to Portland Oregon where he did a tour in the United
States Air Force and Returned to Los Angeles in 1965.
In
1972 he moved his family to Dublin, Georgia, finally settling in Columbus,
Georgia in 1974. He began studies in photography in 1982 and also partaking
in the study of various religious theologies and cultures.
He
retired after working 25 years as an Industrial Electrical Maintenance
Supervisor in 2001 and became a student studying press and graphic design
at Columbus Technical College. He graduated from Columbus Tech in 2003.
