Dark Channel: EP

Every band must start somewhere in the industry, and that is usually with a break-out EP! Dark Channel’s EP artwork was designed to create a sense of uneasiness with fiery bright colors and the band marquee on the forefront of the design, while having faintly in the background the guitarist faintly visible.

Also, the name Dark Channel may produce a sense of something sinister, and that is initially it’s intent; but it also is the layer within Photoshop where I do a lot of editing with color, the channels window, which ties the two art formats together, music and design.
The artwork was designed in Photoshop, while the layouts for production were formatted in Illustrator.
