Cover 2 Cover Designs Original Site

This was my freelance company between the years 2001-2013 that specialized in book cover designs for self-publishing companies and authors, having designed book covers for over 900 books, hundreds of book layouts and typesetting; hence the name “Cover 2 Cover”.

The original site was launched in 2005. For the website I first create my layouts in Photoshop, then I slice them up for graphic elements and hardcode the site within Dreamweaver.

The website was made to have a scholarly feel. I chose colors that corresponded with that theme. Initially it was very tech heavy and had a lot of Flash elements, but I chose to tone it down a little and clean it up. I used this platform until I rebranded the site in 2012
