Thoughts was a gift for my father. My Pop was a renaissance man and had so many talents that the world just was not aware of. One of his many gifts was his writings and keen in sites on life, the world, politics, etc.
He used to write volumes of these thoughts of his and share them with us, or whomever else would read them. In essence, he was ahead of his time and could have seen him as a full-time blogger.
At the time I was still employed at TEC Publication, so my mom and I conspired together. I copied all his writings and published them for him as a Christmas present. Imagine his surprise when he opened his package and there was a case of his “Thoughts”.
I later built the website for him in case he felt he wanted to market his book. Unfortunately, during the years when I published his book and built the site, we lost our mother to cancer. Not to soon after he also got sick and was taken from us by cancer.
The book and the site were never officially launched. But working on the project gave me a deeper understanding of the man who was my father. I will always be proud to be his son and he shall ever remain my hero.
