Nancy B. Brewer "Carolina Rain" Series

The “Carolina Rain” series by author Nancy B. Brewer came to me as one of my many projects under my company Cover 2 Cover Designs and published by Brentwood Publishing.

The run that I had designed ran from August 2010 through June 2012 and consisted of three volumes:
• Carolina Rain
• Beyond Sandy Ridge
• Lizzie After the War

The Book covers are full wrap (Back text and info not on cover as that is later placed by the publisher) and created in Photoshop.

The design concepts were initially based on photographs provided by the author. The challenge was to create a full wrap cover based on the supplied images, necessitating some creative Photoshop wizardry and magic on my end; creating whimsical, period accurate pieces in line with the era of the novels.
