This project was created for the Masterbuilt XL Propane Smoker, which was one of the largest products that was being produced by them at that time; making it feel more like a billboard than a package layout.
The design had to stand out to consumers and relay a premium feel for its price point, while remaining consistent to the corporate branding and marketing strategy.
At the same time, industry standard regulatory information had to be incorporated; adding to the challenge of maintaining that premium feel and not take away from the integrity of the design.
Also included with the design was the POP (Point of Purchase) window cling that was packed in with the smoker acting as supplementary marketing space for when the smoker was assembled as a display.
This layout was created using both Photoshop for imagery, and illustrator for the layout.
