The Ledger-Enquirer All-Star challenge was a marketing concept geared towards NASCAR fans to increase readership of the daily newspaper during NASCAR season.
The game consisted of 12 posters with a playing card across the bottom. Three times weekly game peices were featured in the daily paper. These pieces would be then have to be placed onto the came cards and sent in for a grand prize drawing.
The total print run consisted of:
• 12, 6 column” x 21” comemorative posters
• 36, 6 column x 5” game peices
• 12, 3 column x 10.5” promotional runs
• 11” x 17” Newspaper rack cards (Small billboards that are place on the front of newpaper boxes or in store racks where newspapers are sold.)
